Meet Dyashni
Dyashni is native-born to Nepal. His father and brothers have guided explorers and adventurers up to the peak of Mount Everest for over 20 years. “There are other adventures”, Dyashni said. When asked what the one thing he always wanted to do was, he said “Explore Walt Disney World’. When the opportunity arrived for him to sherpa for people seeking their own kind of adventure at the Orlando theme parks, Dyashni didn’t hesitate to join in. “In the (Disney) World, people laugh and smile. On Everest, they are struggling to enjoy their adventure.”

Dyashni was amazing. Animal Kingdom is the hottest park, so this summer was going to be a struggle in the Florida heat. Dyashni carried all our items for us, giving us plenty of time to get to Flight of Passage and River Journey. He was so helpful with the kids too. My husband and I were able to ride Everest for the first time together, while he watched the children. Love this service SO MUCH! Will definitely use again. A MUST for those hot summers at Disney.
What can I say about Dyashni? This man is amazing and made our trip so much more enjoyable. I reserved him for 8 hours and opted for an additional 3. He was well worth the 1 1/2 quick service and 3 snack credits he required. His knowledge of the Magic Kingdom was undeniable. Especially It’s A Small World. We let him ride that one with us. He knew the whole song word for word and actually sang it all day throughout the park. Ahhh, good times. For the rest of the day he carried my wife and I’s bags and purchases, he was always in the same spot we left him as we went on the rides and never let the cast members move him around like they do with the strollers. Toward the end of the day, he actually held our spot in a few of the longer wait lines so we could rest our feet. All in all, I would say if you are looking for a sherpa while in the parks, Dyashni is your man. With a smile like his, you know he’s got to be good.
Dyashni was amazing. There was no way we could carry all the things I wanted to bring to the park. I was so happy I could bring hair products with me. Usually I have to leave them in the hotel. But Dyashni carried all my items, water, my kids toys, even changes of shoes and clothes for us when we got soaked on Splash Mountain. On our second day, he showed up with a pink streak in his hair to match mine. He said, “Now we are family”.
My kids always want to drag all their stuff with them to the parks. This trip we did Animal Kingdom so we had a lot of water, along with snacks and my son’s small collection of dinosaur toys. Dyashni was so entertaining too. Near Expedition Everest he would say, “I could climb that in about a half hour.” comparing it to his real climbs on Everest. He also told tales of the Yeti that my kids love. I think my wife has a crush on him.
